LOCATION OPTIONS:  Wilsonville, OR (hybrid or onsite – no remote)

DURATION: Full Time Employee

SALARY: $113 to $190K, DOE

Note: DKKD has staffed about 10 people at this company. This role requires US Citizenship.

OVERVIEW:

Job Summary:

The Sr. Manager, SAP Analysts leads initiatives to analyze complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Plans, manages, and controls the activities of a team that provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing system solutions and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. Brings expertise or identifies subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts to identify, interpret and produce recommendations based on company system’s needs. Advises business groups by providing technical and strategic direction to identify and address business issues and opportunities. Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements. Designs details of automated systems.  Ensures that policies and procedures align with corporate vision. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel ensuring efficient operation of the function.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manages a team of SAP Business Analysts that partner with the Business Units to help analyze, design, and implement business solutions with application systems.
• Provides leadership for those involved in the development, design and optimization of technical information systems platforms.
• Resolve business issues by working with various groups within and outside of the company (ie.  system users, company management, consultants, software support staff).
• Helps to identify business improvement and optimization opportunities that provide business value with application functionality.
• Has a strong business acumen and partners with the business units to support their initiatives
• Work in multidisciplinary teams and across business units to define and design complex processes and procedures for SAP and related application systems.
• Responsibilities include but are not limited to analysis, business process optimization, selection and modification of enterprise systems and application software.
• Provides overall leadership to the effort required to protect the company’s data, tools and information systems.
• Participate in the creation and enforcement of IT software standards and procedures
• Ensures application standards maximize efficiency and support platform compatibility.
• Requires subject matter knowledge of user group for practical application of system characteristics.
• Coordinates delivery of services to user groups and ensures IT service is uninterrupted.
• Prepares reports to communicate project and/or support progress and status.
• Monitors incidents and project status and provides reports as appropriate
• Recommends and /or initiates the selection and hiring of employees. Trains and evaluates employees to enhance their performance, development, and work product. Addresses performance issues and makes recommendations for personnel actions.
• Strong SAP cross functional technical and business area knowledge

Job Qualifications:

• 7+ years IT experience required, SAP experience preferred
• 5+ years of management experience required
• BA/BS Degree required
• Proven software experience
• Proven understanding of business processes, SAP configuration, report writing, and the SAP landscape.
• Ability to foster team commitment to tasks.  Ability to influence key individuals inside and outside of own group.
• Excellent organization and communication skills with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms.
