STAFF TO OVERSEE: Indirect Reports –SAP SD Configuration Specialists

BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITY: To stay within budget as defined by the Sr. IT Director

Position Objective:

The SD Business Analyst evaluates problems and opportunities to improve productivity within the business structure and provides solutions by implementing software and business process changes. This involves analysis, design, customization, and testing. The Analyst is responsible for configuration, implementation, as well as production support of the company systems and processes.

1. Implementation of Business Initiatives
   • Manage Systems Implementations from Planning, Development, Testing, Training, Data Conversion and Cutover to Go Live support.
   • Analyze business requirements in areas of Contract to Cash/Order to Cash and map them to standard SAP processes and solutions. Determine system configuration options to meet the project requirements
   • Define system configuration; unit and integration testing; data conversion and validation of implementation data; prepare and/or review training materials; define cutover tasks; provide go-live production support.
   • Manage SAP offshore staff.
2. Manage the Maintenance and Support of SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) External Order Management/ Web/ Ecommerce Applications
   • Oversee ECC configuration, testing and production support in all applicable aspects of SAP’s SD modules and integration points with FI/CO modules, Xi, and MDM, HubSoft, Shopify and all other integration points.
   • Work with outsourcing staff to provide Production Support for SAP transactions.  Ensure all applicable documents are processed and released to accounting for all sales areas prior to month end close
3. Business Processes and Reporting
   • Continually evaluate current IT and business processes to identify potential areas for improved efficiency and effectiveness.
   • Obtain requirements and work with stakeholders on ECC and BW reporting; Work with BW developer on the development of BW queries; Create report specification for BW workbooks to be created and coordinate with developers and complete testing, validation, and roll out to business users
4. SAP User Support and Training
   • Manage external resources to ensure that issues reported by end users are resolved in a timely manner
   • Analyze, track and remediate root causes of system errors
   • Work with business partners throughout the process to ensure solutions meet business requirements
   • Prepare and deliver presentations and training reference guides for end users across worldwide Conduct desk-side coaching and training
5. Various other tasks, duties, and/or projects as needed and assigned

Education, Work Experience & Special Skills/Licenses

• BA degree in a related field strongly preferred, advanced degree appreciated
• Minimum 1 Full Cycle International Sap Implementation which includes SD and MM Modules
• Expert in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Analytical and reconciliation skills
• Experience with Reporting tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
• Must be detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task.
• Experience in the Consumer Goods area preferably with Apparel / Retail brands.
