OVERVIEW:
A Human Resources Generalist and Payroll Specialist are needed at our clients’ central office in Glendale, CA. The Company is in the healthcare industry and has settings throughout Southern California, in the counties of LA, Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino.
Looking for an HR Generalist candidate who:
• is flexible, diplomatic, proactive
• is comfortable dealing with change in daily tasks and asking superiors for prioritization of those tasks
• is curious to learn what management values and wants
• is skilled at accepting occasional curveballs, and ensuring management priorities are on their radar
• is an exceptional multi-tasker, and always know where their current workload stands
• is comfortable with seeking guidance from external resources and multiple mid-day check-ins
• is adept at anticipating what management wants and able to act immediately
• instinctively tries to understand managements’ perspective
• is comfortable supporting field staff who may not be met in person, and know how to deal effectively and diplomatically with difficult people/personalities
Position Details
The HR Manager has three direct reports, and is responsible for their oversight’ (a Recruiting Coordinator, an Admin Coordinator and a Payroll Specialist).
▪ The Payroll Specialist role is responsible for overseeing biweekly payroll processing for all employees using Paychex Flex, including termination processes, final checks, new hire processing, open enrollment, court ordered garnishments, UI audits, differentials, bonus runs, and cash outs.
